First off, congratulations to DEXTER LATULIPPE (of Central City, Surrey) for taking it all down yesterday!! Good luck sir at the BC Poker Championships!!

Next, we are starting our new Season, next week...on Sunday, June 14.

As for the venues we will be at, check back very very soon for the confirmed venues/schedules.

On Monday, Mosquito Creek is on.

The Shark Club is closed Monday, so no poker there.

Just to let all know, that this Tuesday (May 4, 2009) we will be starting our poker games around 7:30 instead of 7pm...so shortly after the Canucks game, our poker games will start.

This will be both at The Lions Pub, and Jack Lonsdales.

So it turns out that the Canucks 1st playoff home game is this Wednesday night (April 15)...so we will not be having our weekly game at the COMOX ST. LONG BAR...but will be back on non-hockey game night Wednesdays.

Here is some news. Big News.

We are now affiliated with the Big Slick Poker Tour!

What this means is:

Bigger seasonal prizes.
More seasonal prizes.
More seasonal Championship Tournaments to qualify for.
More Brad Booth sightings.
More players, more venues, more poker fun!

We have a bunch of new venues to play at! See our schedule for details. A bunch in the Downtown Vancouver region...SHARK CLUB, LIONS PUB, ELEPHANT & CASTLE, COMOX ST. LONG BAR....all downtown. All waiting for you.

To qualify now for the Championships, you'll need to be in the TOP 8 in points at any bar. Shouldn't be a problem. Come out a few times and show your skills!

Of note:  We now play 1 game per night. Same start time. Longer blind levels, smaller blind increases. We also still will be doing side games. Side games still qualify you for a Championship Tournament that we will be doing besides the MAIN Championship Tournament. Ask Tournament Director for details.

And finally, you need to know this: we are starting this Monday, April 13, in North Vancouver, at Mosquito Creek. So it begins!
